1. Apparently Murray said he'd film this movie only if Columbia would let
him do Razor's Edge, The (1984).
2. When the script for this film was forged by Dan Aykroyd and Harold, John Belushi was
slated to play Bill's role. Belushi's tragedy in 1982 not only necessitied the
hiring of Bill, but also an entire rewrite.
3. Bill's performance in the film was always compared with W.C. Fields and Groucho
